The World Bank Treasury Summer Internship is a thrilling paid internship for both U.S. and non-U.S. nationals. This is a junior professional training program for students who wish to pursue a career in finance. The interns will acquire and enhance skills that are vital in finance, laying the groundwork to be a Junior Analyst. Soon after graduating from the degree program, successful interns are given a two-year job on a Treasury team. Interns are paid an hourly stipend.

Treasury Summer Internship is a ten-week full-time internship, from May 26 to August 3, 2026. The internship will be held in Washington, DC.
Treasury Summer Internship Stipend and Benefits
The interns will be paid an hourly rate:
Non-U.S. Citizens: Get a net pay of $21.80 per hour.
U.S. Citizens: $26.20 gross pay per hour.
A World Bank laptop will be provided to each intern.
The World Bank will cover a Visa, if needed.
Eligibility Criteria
All nationals are eligible for the internship.
Be in your third year of a four-year college or university program. If you are on a five-year program, you would be in your fourth year.
Your undergraduate major should be finance, business, economics, or comparable.
Formal studies in finance are not needed.
You should be able to work full-time throughout the internship.
Be truthful in your application.
