KAUST MEWC Winter Camp 2026 applications are currently ongoing. It is a Fully Funded Students' Camp for students residing in any part of the globe. KAUST Winter Camp is 6 weeks long, and MEWC is the Microelectronics Winter Camp (MEWC). It is a fully funded six-week research internship at the KAUST Campus. This Program will be held from 12th January to 19th February, 2026. This Program is offered to Undergraduate and Master Students. The Objective is to familiarize them with a Research Project. KAUST Microelectronics Winter Camp (MEWC) aims and objectives

It is the aim of the program to extend technical as well as innovative competence of undergraduate and master students majoring in fields of vital importance in microelectronics.

Program Highlights

Research project work on advanced electronics.

Practice on recent technologies such as integrated circuits (ICs), inkjet printing, 3D printing, and self-assembly.

Prototype a device on a given project.

Research skills and e-poster designing workshops.

There will be an e-poster competition at the end of the program too.

Social interactive activities.

Eligibility Criteria

Participant countries have no restrictions.

Final-year undergraduate or current master's students in any course of study that is closely related to electrical and computer engineering.

Have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 on 4.00 or better.

Have good English language skills.

Be highly motivated toward conducting research projects.
