Macquarie University offers AUD 40,000 scholarships for Indian Students for 2025-26 intake

Macquarie University in Sydney has made some major announcements for Indian students looking to pursue their studies in Australia. They have launched their 'Early Acceptance Scholarship', which provides a maximum of AUD 40,000 towards the cost of tuition fees.

This scholarship is for encouraging high-achieving Indian students who are applying for undergraduate and postgraduate courses in 2025 and 2026.

Macquarie will cover AUD 10,000 per annum in terms of the scholarship, which would be valid for all coursework degree offerings at its Sydney campus, according to a press release by the University. Students who are part of four-year undergraduate (UG) courses may therefore get the entire AUD 40,000 advantage.

What makes this scholarship unique is its automatic consideration—Applicants who apply successfully for any undergraduate or postgraduate degree will automatically be considered for this early acceptance scholarship.

Eligibility Criteria

To be eligible for the Early Acceptance Scholarship, applicants should:

Be an Indian citizen

Be studying full-time in an on-campus undergraduate or postgraduate degree

Accept the letter of offer and pay the commencement fee by the stipulated date

Be enrolled in each obligatory study period

Not be receiving a government-funded scholarship for full-fee tuition unless approved by the Macquarie Scholarship Team

Application Details

There is no independent application for the scholarship. Interested students merely need to apply for their desired coursework program and will be considered automatically.
