The Global Korea Scholarship for Bachelor's Degrees (GKS-U) is a Fully Funded Bachelor Scholarship in South Korea. The Scholarship is open for Citizens of GKS Scholarship Partnership countries. Approximately 280 new students will be given this scholarship to pursue their bachelor's program in 2026. It is a Fully Funded scholarship under the Korean Government. What is Embassy Track and University Track?

On the embassy track, you will need to apply via the Korean Embassy in which you are a citizen (embassy track). On the University track, you can apply directly to one of the recommended universities (university track).

Program Duration

Associate Degree: 1 year study of the Korean language program, 2~3 years study of the degree program.

Undergraduate Degree: 1 year study of the Korean language program, 4~6 years study of the degree program.

Eligibility Criteria for the GKS Undergraduate Scholarship 2025

You must be a citizen of a Global Korea Scholarship partner country.

You must not hold a bachelor's degree.

Your academic grade (CGPA) must meet one of the following:

Greater than 2.64 out of 4.0

Greater than 2.80 out of 4.3

Greater than 2.91 out of 4.5

Greater than 3.23 out of 5.0

Your percentile score must be 80% and above.

You must be under 25 years of age.

You must be physically fit.

You must have no criminal record.

"Result Waiting" applicants:

Graduating applicants should first submit a certificate of anticipated graduation at the time of application.
