Prospective applicants must meet certain health requirements and possess a bachelor's degree for master's programs or a bachelor's degree for doctoral programs, with age limits of 35 years for master's candidates and 40 years for doctoral candidates. Notably, proficiency in English, as assessed by IELTS or TOEFL scores, is waived for native English speakers or individuals who have completed their undergraduate or master's degrees in English-medium institutions, provided they can furnish evidence of English language proficiency from their respective universities.
To apply for the Tianjin Government Scholarship, candidates are required to complete an online application process through the university's official portal, adhering to the stipulated schedule. Key documents, including scanned copies of academic transcripts, passport, Tianjin Government Scholarship Application Form for the 2024 intake, study experience resume, study or research plan, two recommendation letters, acceptance letter (if available), physical examination record for foreigners, scan of non-criminal record or student performance letter, and financial statement, must be submitted as part of the application process.
