A video circulating online shows parents of students arguing with faculty members about the missing certificates.

According to a tweet by the account Law Meme Society, "a huge fight broke out between parents and faculty" due to the university's failure to provide certificates. The tweet further alleges that an official told students to "collect their degree certificates later from the examination office."

Adding to the outrage, another tweet by Supreme Court Lawyer Shashank Shekhar Jha claims that parents who arrived a few minutes late for the ceremony were "punished and fined." The tweet questions the university's decision to charge for convocation robes and fines while failing to give students their degrees on time.
