The University of Leeds has unveiled the India Anniversary Masters Scholarship 2024, designed to assist Indian students in funding their master's studies at the university. This initiative underscores the institution’s commitment to enhancing academic collaborations and fostering educational excellence in India.

The scholarship offers £5,000 towards tuition fees for a range of master’s programs starting in September 2024. It is available to Indian nationals who have secured an offer to enrol in a full-time master’s course at the University of Leeds. Eligible candidates must be self-financed, classified as international students, and fulfil all academic offer conditions. Additionally, if required, a £3,000 tuition deposit must be paid by the deadline specified in the offer letter.

This scholarship is automatically awarded to qualifying students without needing a separate application. It will be applied as a deduction from tuition fees in the second semester. Students can combine this scholarship with other department or faculty awards and external funding, provided the total does not exceed 100% of tuition costs. However, deferring the scholarship to a later year is not permitted; students who choose to defer will lose the award.

The scholarship does not apply to online courses. Recipients must be officially enrolled at the University of Leeds by February 2025. For further details, prospective students are encouraged to visit the University of Leeds official website at leeds.ac.uk.
