According to Shantanu Rooj, the CEO of TeamLease EdTech, their mission is all about making higher education more relevant and accessible.

TeamLease EdTech, along with the Department of Higher and Technical Education (DHTE) of the Government of Maharashtra and the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC), have joined hands to revolutionize how students learn and prepare for the workforce in Maharashtra. Their latest move introduces unique degree programs that blend education with practical work experience.

According to Shantanu Rooj, the CEO of TeamLease EdTech, their mission is all about making higher education more relevant and accessible. This partnership is a big step towards achieving that goal. By combining academic learning with hands-on experience, they aim to equip Maharashtra's youth with the skills needed for today's job market.

The initiative focuses on three key aspects: Learning by Doing, Earning while Learning, and Learning with Enhanced Employer Signaling. Students enrolled in these programs will get real-world internships or apprenticeships, along with a monthly stipend to support their education and living costs. It's a win-win situation where students gain valuable experience while still studying.

The ultimate aim is to boost employability among students by providing them with practical skills and work experience. Chandrakant Dada Patil, the Minister of Higher and Technical Education in Maharashtra, believes that this partnership will transform the state's educational landscape. It's not just about getting a degree; it's about getting a degree that makes a real difference in the job market.
