Academia witnesses a revolutionary shift as HP has introduced the HP Innovation & Digital Education Academy (HP IDEA) program in India, aimed at revolutionizing teaching methods and enriching the learning experience for students in CBSE schools.

In collaboration with the Centre for Teacher Accreditation (CENTA) and Verdant & Co, HP IDEA is designed to meet the evolving needs of educators and students in the digital age. By providing comprehensive training and resources, the program equips teachers with essential digital pedagogy skills required for success in a technology-driven learning environment.

Ipsita Dasgupta, SVP & Managing Director of HP India market, emphasized the importance of digital equity in HP's vision for the future. She expressed pride in bringing the program to India, foreseeing its positive impact on educators and students nationwide.

Priyanka Arya, Director and Chief Operating Officer of CENTA, highlighted the organization's extensive reach and understanding of teachers' needs. Arya expressed excitement about collaborating with HP to implement the program in schools across over 20 cities in India.

Christine Kerlin Nasserghodsi, Managing Partner of Verdant & Co., described the launch of HP IDEA in India as a transformative step toward enhancing educational methods and accessibility. She emphasized the collaboration's focus on empowering teachers with 21st-century teaching skills.

Aligned with the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, HP IDEA aims to benefit approximately 5,000 teachers and 50,000 students across 50 schools in India. The program offers two pathways for participating schools: HP IDEA Fellow and HP IDEA Associate, providing immersive teacher development programs and focused interventions, respectively.

HP IDEA is part of HP's commitment to accelerating digital equity for 150 million people by 2030. Globally, the program has already impacted over 1 million students and teachers across 32 cohorts in 23 countries and 7 languages. Leveraging research and frameworks from esteemed institutions, HP IDEA ensures the delivery of cutting-edge educational practices.
