Checklists always make your work easier. You can always be a step ahead with that list of go-to notepads handy. But while these little over-the-top lists make it easier to break the bubble here, most people do it wrong. Given that, here we suggest 7 ways to follow and make yourself a compact checklist.

Detox your brain

Heard of ‘detox water?’ Pretty fancy these days! It detoxifies your body. It boosts your body’s functionality. But how do you detox your brain? Unfortunately, no magic tonic is available there. It’s as simple and traditional as to get a diary, and start ejecting every thought out of your busy mind. If any upcoming project, or your life goals, or something that you need to accomplish.

The art of ‘grouping’

Once you unpack your brain, check the ones that are on your priority list. And start amalgamating. Pick out any 5 big tasks ahead that you know need to be done at the very start. This is called ‘grouping.’ Once you finalise, head on to a fresh page and note down the ‘to-do tasks.’ And here, you do not look back on the ‘detox page’ of your checklist. Keep it clear, sorted and prompt.

Maintain a healthy regimen

Rethink on what you do as you start your day. There are two kinds of people, ‘the early bird’ and ‘the night owl.’ But both gets 24 hours. Now you decide on how do you use these 24 hours.

If you are a late riser, no problem! Start your day with hydrating your body. You could make yourself a ‘detox water’ maybe! Have your breakfast. And continue with your work.

Now here is the trick! To find time for your exercise. This turns out as a challenge for most late risers. And here you make the ‘dusk’ your friend. Once you finish your work, have your preferred meal, and prepare your body! Start with light warm up exercises. For a night time exercise regimen, ‘Zumba,’ ‘plank,’ ‘glute bridge,’ and more like it. You can also just go for a quick jog. End it with a ‘child pose,’ this releases your lower back (a magical stretch, for people who do a desk job).

If you are an early bird, start with similar regimen, and plant your exercise regimen. Go for a run! Cycling! Meditate.

‘C’-lock your work

Assert time for each work that you do! Set a timer, and finish the task in the aimed time frame. This shall increase your productivity. (Do not forget to rest)

Motivate yourself

Know the ‘cause’ and ‘because’ of your task. To question yourself can only lead you to your quests.

Productivity vs Busy

At the end of the day, it is the outcome that matters. You can be too ‘busy’ with zero results. Or you could be dedicated to one single task and make it happen! However, that doesn’t mean you do not ‘multitask,’ it is a skill that every entrepreneur should have in them. But always ‘calculate’ the ‘returns’ you want from a single investment (whether it is your money or your time.)

Compete with yourself

Always aim to be ‘better’ than what you are today. Review your list, see what you accomplished and what still needs to be done. Always celebrate your achievements. No self-doubts.
