Kerala’s schools reopened today, welcoming nearly 40 lakh students back to classrooms equipped with state-of-the-art technological upgrades.
Over 2.44 lakh students were enrolled in Class I, marking a significant milestone in the state’s commitment to education. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan inaugurated the state-level admission festival, Praveshanotsavam, at the Government Higher Secondary School in Elamakkara, Ernakulam.
In his inaugural speech, CM Vijayan emphasized the transformative impact of the new hi-tech classrooms, which are designed to enhance both learning and entertainment opportunities for students. "These modernized classrooms are not just about bringing technology to education; they are about providing a holistic learning environment that fosters curiosity, creativity, and critical thinking," said Vijayan. He urged students to make the most of these resources, highlighting the state’s continuous efforts to improve the quality of education.
