The Andhra Pradesh School Education Department will close the online application window for the Andhra Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) 2024 on August 3. Candidates must complete their applications on aptet.apcfss.in by the deadline.
Originally scheduled for August 5 to 20, the exam has been rescheduled to October 3 to 20 to allow candidates more preparation time, as stated in the official announcement.

Candidates are required to pay ₹750 per paper for 1A, 1B, 2A, and 2B.
To qualify for AP TET, candidates in the open category must achieve a minimum score of 60%. BC category candidates need 50%, while SC, ST, differently-abled (PH), and ex-servicemen candidates require at least 40%.
In Andhra Pradesh teacher recruitment, the AP TET score will contribute 20% to the overall assessment, with the remaining 80% based on the specific teacher recruitment exam.
The AP TET certification will be valid for a lifetime. The test is intended for individuals aspiring to teach classes 1 to 8 in various state and private educational institutions, including State Government, Mandal Parishad, Zilla Parishad, Municipality, AP Model Schools, AP Residential Schools, Welfare Society Schools, Private Aided Schools, and Private Un-aided Schools.
