IIM Raipur And Birmingham City University Launch Collaborative Initiatives

The Indian Institute of Management Raipur (IIM Raipur) has established a notable alliance with Birmingham City University (BCU), ushering in a new phase of international academic collaboration.

This partnership was officially cemented with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) by Prof. Ram Kumar Kakani, Director of IIM Raipur, and Prof. Eileen McAuliffe, Pro Vice-Chancellor and Executive Dean at BCU.

The agreement focuses on enhancing both institutions through various collaborative efforts, including student and faculty exchange programs, joint research initiatives, and shared advancements in teaching techniques. The partnership aims to provide mutual benefits to both universities, enrich their communities' academic experiences, and promote global professional growth.

Prof. Ram Kumar Kakani expressed his enthusiasm for the new collaboration, highlighting its potential to elevate IIM Raipur's international profile and offer significant advantages to students and staff. He emphasized that the planned exchange programs and collaborative research will strengthen academic ties and foster an interconnected global network, driving future growth and innovation.

Prof. Satyasiba Das, Dean of External Affairs at IIM Raipur, stressed the importance of global partnerships in achieving the institute’s ambitions for worldwide recognition. This agreement, driven by the efforts of Dr. Shishank from BCU and Dr. Mrinal Chavda from IIM Raipur, marks a crucial milestone in enhancing academic relations and advancing global academic cooperation, paving the way for future joint ventures.
