The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has issued the admit cards for the upcoming Class 10 and 12 practical exams, scheduled between September 20 and October 7, 2024.

Students can download their admit cards from the official NIOS website, sdmis.nios.ac.in, by entering their enrollment numbers. The release of admit cards marks a significant step toward the examinations, allowing students to make final preparations for the practicals.

All students must carry their admit cards to the designated exam centres, as failure to do so will result in being denied entry. The admit cards contain crucial details such as the student’s name, roll number, exam centre, and exam dates, which are vital for a smooth examination process.

As per TOI reports, NIOS has strongly advised students to carefully review the information on their admit cards for any discrepancies. Errors in details such as names, examination centres, or dates should be reported immediately to the nearest NIOS regional center to avoid complications on the exam day. The institute has also made provisions for students to resolve such issues swiftly by contacting their regional offices.

The practical exams are a key part of the NIOS curriculum, and the upcoming session will cover various subjects for students appearing in both Class 10 and Class 12. As practical exams often have a hands-on and performance-based evaluation, students are encouraged to be well-prepared, not only with theoretical knowledge but also with the skills necessary for the practical assessments.

The issuance of admit cards is a reminder for students to focus on their final preparations. NIOS has implemented various support measures, including online resources, study materials, and guidance from instructors, to help students feel confident as they approach their exams. For many students, especially those balancing studies with other commitments, NIOS offers flexibility while maintaining rigorous academic standards.

This session’s practical exams are expected to be conducted under strict guidelines to ensure fairness and transparency, in line with NIOS’s commitment to providing open and accessible education. Students are advised to reach their exam centres ahead of time and follow all protocols to ensure a smooth examination process.

NIOS has extended its best wishes to all students for their upcoming exams, encouraging them to approach the practicals with confidence and dedication. The successful completion of these exams will be a crucial step in their academic journey.
