As per Zee News reports, the JNVST 2025 examination is scheduled for April 18, 2025, across the country. These schools are celebrated for nurturing talent from diverse backgrounds, offering students an opportunity to excel academically.

Candidates must have been born between May 1, 2012, and April 30, 2014 (inclusive). Applicants must be studying in Class 5 at a government or government-recognized school. According to an NVS official, the extension aims to encourage more students to participate in the selection process.
