The registration window for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2025 is set to close tomorrow, October 14, 2024. Aspiring candidates are advised to complete their applications on the official GATE website [gate.iisc.ac.in](http://gate.iisc.ac.in) before the deadline.

The Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore, which is conducting the exam, has also announced that candidates will have the opportunity to edit their applications between October 15 and October 21, 2024.

According to the Republic World report, GATE 2025 is scheduled to take place on February 3, 4, 10, and 11, 2025, with the results expected to be announced on March 16, 2025. These key dates are critical for those planning to take the exam and aim for admissions to prestigious institutions or recruitment by Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).

To register, candidates must first visit the official GATE website and complete the registration process by providing a valid email address and mobile number. After registration, they must fill out the application form, upload the necessary documents, and pay the required application fee. Once submitted, applicants should take a printout of their application for future reference.

GATE 2025 will cover 29 subjects across Engineering, Science, and Humanities. The syllabus has been updated and is available on the official website. Candidates are encouraged to review the specific topics for their selected paper to ensure they are adequately prepared for the exam.

In terms of eligibility, candidates must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Architecture, Science, Commerce, or Arts. Final-year students are also eligible to apply. GATE scores are valid for three years and are used for PSU recruitment, as well as for admissions to top institutions such as IITs and NITs for research and higher studies.
