The application process for the Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2025 has officially begun today, October 1. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official website, uceed.iitb.ac.in, until October 31.

A late registration window is available until November 8, subject to an additional fee of Rs 500. The registration fee for general category candidates is Rs 4000, while women and candidates from SC, ST, and PwD categories can apply for Rs 2000.

IIT Bombay will conduct UCEED 2025 on January 19, 2025, from 9 am to 12 pm. The exam is a gateway for candidates seeking admission to undergraduate design programs. Candidates who have cleared their Class 12 exams in 2024 or are appearing for the first time in 2025 are eligible to apply. Students from any stream—science, commerce, arts, or humanities—can register.

The UCEED 2025 exam consists of two parts. Part A is a computer-based test featuring three sections: Numerical Answer Type (NAT), Multiple Select Questions (MSQ), and Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ). Part B will assess drawing skills and design aptitude and will be manually evaluated by examiners.

Admit cards will be available for download starting January 3, 2025, and the results will be released in the form of a scorecard, downloadable from March 10 to June 11, 2025. Successful candidates will receive an All India Rank (AIR) based on their performance and will be eligible for admission to various design programs.
