A 35-year-old female teacher, Rekha Singh, was killed after being struck by a speeding truck on her way to school near Fatehpur village on the Bareilly-Lucknow Highway. The accident occurred around 7:30 a.m., as Rekha was walking towards her local government school, where she taught.

According to witnesses, the truck involved in the accident lost control before hitting Rekha, causing her to sustain severe injuries. Despite being rushed to a nearby hospital, Rekha tragically succumbed to her injuries. The truck driver fled the scene immediately after the accident, and police have launched a manhunt to apprehend the driver.
