The Indian Institute of Management Mumbai (IIM Mumbai) has announced a strategic partnership with the Motilal Oswal Foundation (MOF) to establish the Motilal Oswal Knowledge Centre (MOKC), a state-of-the-art learning and research facility. This new centre aims to enhance academic infrastructure and elevate educational standards across India.

The MOKC will catalyze innovation and knowledge sharing, focusing on critical disciplines such as capital markets, business strategy, and financial research. As India’s workforce evolves, the collaboration highlights the increasing demand for industry-aligned education that bridges the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

With 33,400 square feet of dedicated space allocated to the Motilal Oswal Foundation within the MOKC, the foundation aims to drive significant advancements in capital markets and research initiatives. Meanwhile, IIM Mumbai will utilize the remaining space to create modern classrooms, cutting-edge research labs, and essential student support services.

"As we expand our capabilities in education and research, partnerships like this will be vital in enabling us to continue growing as a premier institution,” said Prof. Manoj K Tiwari, Director of IIM Mumbai. “The Centre will revolutionise the way we approach research and learning. With dedicated spaces for financial research and academic innovation, this Centre will empower our students and faculty to engage in transformative work that aligns with the industry’s needs,” as quoted by The Indian Express.

The MOKC is expected to foster a collaborative environment where students and faculty can engage in transformative work that aligns with industry needs. By enhancing education and research capabilities, this partnership is set to position IIM Mumbai as a premier institution in India, driving progress and innovation in management education.

As the demand for skilled professionals in various sectors continues to grow, initiatives like the Motilal Oswal Knowledge Centre are essential in preparing the next generation of leaders equipped to navigate the complexities of the modern business landscape.
