The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the online registration for the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) December 2024 today, October 16, at 11:59 PM. Aspiring candidates must complete their applications on the official website, ctet.nic.in.
To apply, candidates should visit the website, click on the registration link, complete the registration to generate login credentials, log in to fill out the application form, upload necessary documents, and pay the application fee. After submitting the form, they should download a copy of the confirmation page for future reference.
The CTET exam will be conducted across 136 cities in India, with Paper 2 (for classes VI to VIII) scheduled for the morning shift from 9:30 AM to noon and Paper 1 (for classes I to V) set for the afternoon shift from 2:30 PM to 5 PM.
The application fees for CTET December 2024 are as follows:
- General and OBC-NCL candidates: ₹1,000 for one paper and ₹1,200 for both papers.
- SC, ST, and Differently-abled candidates: ₹500 for one paper and ₹600 for both papers.
The exam is now scheduled for Saturday, December 14, having been rescheduled from its initial date of December 1 and then from December 15 to accommodate state-level examinations.
