The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, has declared the results of the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 7 Mains 2024 on October 16. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now check their results on the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. The results include the ranks, roll numbers, gender, category, and percentage of marks for the selected candidates.

Out of 6,944 qualified candidates, 2,581 are male, and 4,363 are female. The largest group of successful candidates comes from the OBC category, with 3,161 passing the exam. This is followed by 1,430 from the Scheduled Caste (SC) category, 1,007 from the Economically Weaker Section (EWS), 851 unreserved candidates, and 495 from the Scheduled Tribe (ST) category. The qualified candidates will now move to the next stage, which involves document verification.

AIIMS has provided a detailed step-by-step process for checking results on its website. Candidates must visit the AIIMS website, locate the NORCET 7 Stage 2 exam result link, and download the PDF to check their roll number and results. AIIMS also noted that, in the case of a tie in scores, older candidates were given preference, and if further tie-breaking was necessary, those with fewer negative responses were prioritized.

It is important to note that the announced results are provisional and subject to verification of the candidates’ eligibility and other documentation. AIIMS stated that the requirements of respective hospitals and institutes would be followed during this process.

The final selection of candidates will be based on an online allocation process. AIIMS plans to release the updated seat positions and complete the selection protocol on October 23. Following this, candidates will have from October 23 to October 30 to participate in the online choice filling process, which will ultimately determine their final placement.
