The Indian Army organised a career counselling session for students of classes 9 to 12 from Premnagar and Dwarika villages at Leimakhong, Manipur. The session was attended by 23 students and aimed at spreading awareness about career opportunities in the armed forces.

The interactive lecture gave students essential information about the eligibility criteria, selection process, and skills required for a military career. The focus was encouraging young minds to explore opportunities in the armed forces and empowering them to make informed career decisions. Students actively participated in discussions, asking questions about their aspirations, with Army personnel offering valuable guidance and support.

This initiative is part of the Army's more extensive outreach program to inspire the next generation of leaders and foster a sense of national pride and service among young people. By sharing insights into the challenges and rewards of a career in the military, the session aimed to spark interest in a profession that requires dedication, discipline, and a sense of duty.

Local villagers and school authorities expressed their gratitude for the Army's efforts, highlighting the importance of such initiatives in shaping the future of Manipur's youth. A village elder remarked, "The Indian Army's commitment to guiding our children is commendable, and we are grateful for their efforts to shape their future."

The Indian Army’s ongoing career counselling efforts across the region aim to build awareness about armed forces careers, instil patriotism, and encourage students to pursue career paths that serve the nation. By investing time and resources into youth empowerment, the Army contributes to the community's holistic development, offering a pathway for students to achieve their dreams while serving their country.

The event at Leimakhong is just one part of the Army’s larger mission to inspire young minds, encourage informed career decisions, and promote national unity through service. As the Indian Army continues these outreach programs, they help ensure that the youth of Manipur are better prepared to face future challenges, both personally and professionally.
