The National Testing Agency (NTA) is gearing up to release the notification for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025, a significant exam for students aiming to secure seats in top engineering and architecture programs at premier institutions like the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs).

This year, NTA has introduced relaxed eligibility criteria for JEE Main, making the exam more accessible. Candidates no longer need a minimum percentage in Class 12 to appear for the exam, and no age limit allows students from various educational backgrounds and ages to apply. The JEE Main 2025 will be conducted in two sessions, one in January and another in April, offering candidates the flexibility to improve their scores in the second attempt if desired. The exam format will include multiple-choice and numerical questions to test candidates' analytical skills and conceptual understanding.

To apply, candidates must have essential documents, including their Class 10 certificate, Class 12 mark sheet, identity proof, passport-size photographs, a digital signature, and, if applicable, their category or disability certificates. This documentation is critical for verifying the candidate’s eligibility and ensuring a smooth application process. The exam duration is set for three hours, with an additional hour for candidates with disabilities, and the marking scheme awards four points for each correct answer while deducting one point for each incorrect response. This structure encourages careful answering to avoid penalties.

The NTA will release the official notification on its website [jeemain.nta.nic.in](https://jeemain.nta.nic.in), where candidates can find all relevant information on registration timelines, exam dates, the release of admit cards, and result announcements. This information is crucial for candidates to plan and prepare accordingly. As they await the notification, aspirants can start preparing by familiarizing themselves with the exam pattern, practising mock tests, and studying the syllabus to improve their chances of success. Since JEE Main is highly competitive, a strategic approach to preparation can be advantageous. Students and parents are advised to check the NTA website frequently to stay updated on any new announcements. With rigorous preparation, candidates can approach JEE Main 2025 confidently, as this exam is a significant step toward their academic and career aspirations in engineering and architecture.
