Additionally, Vivek Saini, an MBA graduate, fell victim to a brutal attack with a hammer by a homeless individual in Lithonia, Georgia, on January 16. Akul Dhawan, an 18-year-old Indian-American student, was found dead due to hypothermia on the back porch of a building near the University of Illinois on January 20.
