Adding star power to the cause is none other than acclaimed actor Manoj Bajpayee, who has thrown his support behind the movement. Speaking passionately at the launch event, Bajpayee opened up about his own experiences, saying, “As someone who has lived with hunger pangs, I understand the deep impact it can have on physical, mental and emotional well-being.

Launching an aim to rejuvenate 1.4 million anganwadis (rural childcare centers) nationwide, Nand Ghar has unveiled a groundbreaking national movement. Dubbed "Agar Bachpan Se Poocha Khaana Khaaya, Toh Desh Ka Kal Banaya" (loosely translated as "If You Ate Well Since Childhood, You Built the Nation's Tomorrow"), this initiative shines a spotlight on the critical importance of good nutrition and preschool education for children.

That’s why initiatives like Project Nand Ghar are so crucial. It not only ensures that children receive proper nutrition but also brings hope, opportunity, and a chance for a brighter future. Let’s all join hands with the Nand Ghar movement to ensure that we nourish the potential of children, and together, prepare for a brighter India," as quoted India Education Diary.

But it's not just about celebrity endorsements. Nand Ghar is actively encouraging everyday people to get involved through their website, www.nandghar.org. Whether it's donating, volunteering, or partnering up, there are plenty of ways for folks to chip in and support the cause.

Backing up this grassroots effort is McCann Worldgroup, whose CEO & CCO, Prasoon Joshi, praised the movement's message. “If we want to give our children a genuine chance at realizing their true potential, then well-rounded nutrition is essential. What better way to highlight this than to bring forth some of India’s most famous sons and daughters who have faced this hurdle in their journey.”

Nand Ghar's success speaks for itself. As the flagship project of the Anil Agarwal Foundation (AAF), it's been making serious strides in the fight against malnutrition. And last year, AAF took things a step further by rolling out a program that provided protein-packed nutri bars to thousands of kids in Varanasi. Not only did these bars boost the children's nutrient intake, but they also helped slash cutting rates, proving that a little nutrition can go a long way.
