West Bengal Board Declares Class 12th Results: Abhik Das Tops With 99.2%

In a highly anticipated announcement, the West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has unveiled the results for the Class 12th or HS final exams. The declaration, made via a press conference, has brought moments of elation and anticipation for thousands of students across the state.

Students can access their scores starting from 3 pm on wbresults.nic.in and wbchse.wb.gov.in by entering their board exam roll code and number. This streamlined process ensures that candidates can swiftly view their performance and plan their next steps accordingly.

This year witnessed an impressive turnout of approximately 7.5 lakh students for the WB 12th exams. The outcome reflects a commendable pass percentage, with 6.7 lakh students, constituting 89.99%, successfully clearing the exams. Among the shining stars, Abhik Das from Alipurduar has emerged as the topper, securing a remarkable 99.2% with a score of 496 marks.

The Class 12th final examination in West Bengal was conducted diligently from February 16 to February 29. The exam schedule, featuring a single shift from 9.45 am to 1 pm each day, provided a conducive environment for students to exhibit their knowledge and skills. Notably, an additional fifteen minutes were allocated for candidates to thoroughly review the question papers before commencing their answers.
