Edinbox, the pioneering education platform, celebrates a significant achievement as it wraps up 17 sessions of its online lecture series in partnership with the esteemed Global Media Education Council (GMEC) and the Media and Entertainment Skills Council (MESC).
This groundbreaking initiative aims to empower students with insights into diverse facets of the media industry, bringing together 30 distinguished members from GMEC to share their expertise. The sessions cover a broad spectrum of media-related topics, including Journalism, Advertising, Public Relations, Event Management, Radio Broadcasting, TV News, Entertainment Industry, Film Production, Design and Graphics, Animation, Media Research, Digital Media, and Social Media.
The lectures, delivered by eminent speakers not only from India but also from international hubs like China, Pakistan, Bangladesh, and more, are hosted on the Vidyadaan portal. Edinbox ensures that the wealth of knowledge imparted in these sessions is accessible to a wider audience by live-streaming on YouTube and later available on both the YouTube channel and the Vidyadaan website.
The inaugural session on September 22, 2022, at 7:00 pm, set the tone for the series and was conducted by Prof. K. G Suresh, Vice Chancellor of Makhanlal Chaturvedi National University of Journalism & Communication and President of GMEC. Leading this intellectual voyage is Professor and Dean, DME Media School, and GMEC Secretary, Dr. Ambrish Saxena.
