Program Theme
- Theme: The Future of Food Security: Lessons from Southeast Asia.
- The Jefferson Fellowship will be looking into this year the expanding concerns of the Food Security of the Southeast Asia region brought about by altered environmental conditions, inflation, depleted fisheries, and disruptions of the global supply chains. There is a very clear need for Journalists to delve into this matter.

Eligibility Criteria
- The Fellowship is available to Pacific Region Nationals and United States Citizens.
- Print, broadcast, or online journalist with work based in the Indo-Pacific region, including the United States.
- Professional experience in journalism for at least 5 years.
- Competent to communicate in English professionally.
- Highly encouraged to produce content during and after the program in the style of formal print and broadcast news stories, blogs, and social media postings.
