The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued admit cards for the UGC NET exams scheduled from August 27 to August 30, 2024. Students can download their hall tickets from the official NTA website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in, by entering their application number and date of birth.

Initially set for August 26, the exam has been rescheduled to August 27 due to Janmashtami celebrations. This adjustment is crucial for candidates to note as they prepare for the upcoming tests.

The admit cards are mandatory for entry into the examination centre and must be accompanied by valid photo ID proof, such as a passport, Aadhaar card, or voter ID. The specific list of acceptable photo IDs is mentioned on the admit card itself. Candidates are advised to read the instructions on the admit card carefully to avoid any last-minute issues at the exam centre.

The UGC NET re-examination will cover 83 subjects, including languages like Hindi, English, and Sanskrit, as well as specialized fields such as Mass Communication, Journalism, and Library Science. Admit cards for the exams scheduled on September 2, 3, and 4 will be released later.

To download the admit card, students must visit the NTA website, click the relevant link, and enter their credentials and the security pin displayed. It is recommended to print the admit card well in advance of the exam date to ensure all details are correct and to avoid any last-minute hassles.
