The British Council has officially announced the launch of the Study UK Alumni Awards 2025, a prestigious initiative that recognizes the remarkable contributions of Indian nationals who have pursued higher education in the United Kingdom.
Now, in its ninth year, the awards aim to celebrate the successes of Indian alumni who have excelled in their respective fields and made significant impacts both in India and globally.
This year, the awards will be presented in five distinct categories: Science and Technology, Culture and Creativity, Social Impact, Business and Entrepreneurship, and Global Champion. The Global Champion category is designed to acknowledge alumni who have demonstrated outstanding leadership and global reach, furthering the influence of UK higher education on the international stage.
As per Indian Express reports, to be eligible, candidates must have completed either their undergraduate or postgraduate studies at a recognized UK institution within the last 15 years. The deadline for applications is set for November 30, 2024.
Applicants will go through a comprehensive selection process, beginning with an online application submission, which will require supporting documentation. Following this, a shortlist of candidates will be interviewed by a panel of judges comprising industry experts and representatives from the British Council. The winners will be revealed in early 2025 at a high-profile awards ceremony, expected to draw attention from prominent figures across sectors.
