The Himachal Pradesh Board of School Education (HPBOSE) is set to release the admit cards for the Himachal Pradesh Teacher Eligibility Test (HP TET) 2024 soon.

As per an official statement from HPBOSE Secretary Rajiv Sharma, the admit cards will be available on the official website, and candidates are strongly advised to download and print their hall tickets well in advance to avoid any last-minute issues. The HP TET is one of the most anticipated exams for aspiring teachers in the state, with over 1.5 lakh candidates expected to appear this year.

The HP TET 2024 will be conducted on multiple dates, and the exam schedule has been announced. The first exam, TET (Medical), will take place on November 15, followed by TET (Non-Medical) and TET (Arts) on November 17. The TGT (Medical) TET is also scheduled for November 17, while TGT (Non-Medical) TET and Language Teacher TET will be held on November 24. The Punjabi TET and Urdu TET exams will take place on November 26. Candidates appearing for the exams are advised to be prepared and keep track of the specific dates for their respective subjects.

To ensure a smooth exam experience, candidates must adhere to certain instructions. It is mandatory to carry the admit card and a valid ID proof to the exam centre. Candidates are also required to report at the exam centre at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time. Furthermore, the use of electronic devices, other than calculators, is strictly prohibited at the exam centre, so candidates should avoid carrying unnecessary gadgets. These measures are in place to ensure the exam is conducted without any disruptions.

The HP TET exam will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions, each carrying one mark. To qualify, candidates need to secure a minimum score of 60%. However, for candidates belonging to the SC, ST, OBC, and PwD categories, the qualifying score has been relaxed by 5%. This makes it slightly easier for candidates from these categories to clear the exam. Candidates should review the syllabus and previous exam patterns to better prepare for the test and increase their chances of success.

With the release of the admit cards just around the corner, candidates are urged to stay updated with the official announcements and get ready for the upcoming HP TET 2024.
