In a significant stride towards modernizing religious education, the influential Sunni scholars’ forum, Samastha Kerala Jem-iyyathul Ulama, has unveiled cutting-edge mobile and web applications tailored for madrasa education. The launch event, held recently, marked a pivotal moment in leveraging technology for advancing religious learning.

Syed Jifri Muthukoya Thangal, President of Samastha, emphasized the importance of integrating advancements in science and technology with religious education. He highlighted that the new initiatives aim to harness knowledge from across the globe, underscoring the forum's commitment to embracing modern tools for educational empowerment.

The launch ceremony also witnessed the unveiling of a documentary on e-learning by Panakkad Syed Sadikali Shihab Thangal, the State president of the Indian Union Muslim League. This documentary showcases the transformative potential of digital platforms in enhancing learning experiences.

Abusaleh Sheriff, renowned for his role as the member-secretary of the Rajindar Sachar Committee, delivered a compelling keynote address. Sheriff commended Kerala's educational prowess, noting its leading position in the country's educational landscape.

The mobile and web applications are managed by the Samastha Kerala Islam Matha Vidyabhyasa Board, the educational arm of the forum. These applications serve as a boon for individuals unable to access traditional madrasas for religious education. By logging into www.samasthaelearning.com or utilizing the web application, students can choose convenient class timings conducted by experienced religious scholars.

To facilitate interactive learning experiences, a dedicated office for live classes has been established at the Samastha office in Kozhikode. Additionally, an e-learning kit is set to be launched, enhancing accessibility and engagement for learners.

One notable initiative introduced alongside is the 'e-learning ongoing education scheme' aimed at elders keen on continuing their religious education journey. This holistic approach underscores Samastha's commitment to catering to diverse educational needs within the community.

The launch of these innovative educational platforms marks a progressive step towards inclusive and accessible religious education. It not only bridges physical barriers but also promotes a modernized approach to learning rooted in tradition. Samastha's visionary initiatives signal a promising era of educational empowerment and technological integration in the realm of madrasa education.
