We’ll look at the best courses in forensic science you can take after finishing your 12th grade and how to begin your path in the field.

What Are the Benefits of Studying Forensic Science After 12th?

Forensic science involves the use of science to investigate crimes and aid the justice system. Experts in forensics use techniques such as fingerprinting and solving cybercrimes in today’s investigations. The practice isn’t only about labs; it also gives opportunities for work in law enforcement, legal consulting and research. Due to more cybercrimes and difficult criminal cases, the jobs in forensic science courses are becoming much more in demand.

What Are Some Popular Courses to Take After Completing 12th?

After completing 12th grade with science subjects, you can choose an undergraduate course that blends science, technology and law in its own way.

B.Sc. in Cyber Forensic

B.Sc. Cyber Forensic is a recently developed course intended for those who want to work in investigations involving digital technology. While using this program, you discover about cybercrimes, how to gather evidence online, ethical hacking and strategies for locating online hackers. As crime becomes more frequent on the internet, courses like this are getting more useful and help people work in cyber crime analysis, IT firms and the police.

B.Sc. Forensic Science

This course is the most accessible and sought-after forensic science program in India. The B.Sc. Forensic Science program teaches the essentials of crime scene analysis, forensic biology, forensic chemistry, toxicology and forensic psychology. In the lab, students gain practical experience in collecting, saving and study of evidence. Graduates may find work in government forensic labs, police departments or decide to study further for more detailed positions.

B.Sc in Forensic Science and Criminology
