A school in Chembur, Mumbai, has initiated a program to offer free education and winter stay to students from Turtuk village, Ladakh, where harsh winter conditions render schooling almost impossible.

With temperatures below zero, Turtuk, a remote village near the India-Pakistan border, is bitterly cold. Daily activities are often disrupted by bad weather, which makes it difficult for pupils to continue their studies. The Mumbai school has stepped up to provide a winter hostel facility in recognition of this hardship, giving the kids unrestricted academic opportunities.

The project is focused on closing the educational gap experienced by school students in Ladakh's far-flung regions. By inviting them to Mumbai, the school is not just making quality education available but also giving them a chance to be introduced to new learning environments, contemporary facilities, and varied experiences.

In addition to academics, the initiative promotes mutual understanding and unity between Mumbai and Ladakh students through cultural exchange. In addition to exposing the visiting students to an urban educational environment, the exchange helps city-based students appreciate Ladakh's rich cultural legacy.

Both education experts and officials have praised the project, with some calling for its implementation in other regions of India. Providing winter education centers to kids from regions with harsh weather conditions may improve their literacy and general performance.

Both the Turtuk village authorities and the local government have expressed gratitude for the work and praised them for helping their pupils. Given that their children won't miss out on their education because of seasonal disturbance, the parents of the participating youngsters also see this as a transformative opportunity.

This project is an admirable illustration of empathy, transparency, and creativity in education as schools search for innovative ways to serve children from underprivileged and rural backgrounds.

Tamil Nadu government schools are in dire straits due to financial constraints, with tensions rising between the state and the central governments concerning the flow of funds. The shortfall is preventing the majority of the several thousand schools from being able to pay teachers' salaries and keep their primary infrastructure afloat.

While state officials accused the Centre of blocking important funds from reaching the schools, the Centre, in turn, denied the allegations and argued that they were not released due to inefficient utilization by the state.

These problems of funding have raised major questions about the quality of education in government schools. Several institutions lack the resources to provide students with a beneficial atmosphere. The Tamil Nadu government claimed also that grants for Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan--a project meant to assist improvement in of school education--have not been disbursed in full.

With more than 20,000 government schools under dispute, the education of millions of students lies in limbo. The Tamil Nadu government has maintained that it would take all possible action to minimize disruptions; but indeed, schools are bearing a continuing financial burden.

Unless an agreement is reached regarding funds or somewhere down the line between the two governments, Tamil Nadu's government schools are still going to be in a quagmire, thereby raising doubts regarding the future of public education in the state

Students, as well as parents, are concerned with the particulars regarding the rules of the CBSE Board Exams 2025. To provide assistance, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has prepared answers for common queries pertaining to the conduct of the examination, marking, and preparation methods.

While CBSE has made a considerable number of rules, none are as crucial as the one that stipulates the use of correction fluid/tape and any liquid papers are absolutely prohibited. Examiners must ensure that their work is presented in blue ink or royal blue gel pens. In order to help oneself, it is better to write in an organized manner and while presentation does not attract direct marks, it can help improve readability. However, for language papers, the marks awarded can get reduced for spelling and grammar mistakes.

The maximum word limit can be quite a source of concern for students attempting the exam. CBSE does state, however, that as long as the answers supplied are as concise and to-the-point as possible, then no penalty will be applied for going over the word limit. Regardless of all this, students should aim to balance detail with clarity in order to manage their time properly.

Many believe that a student not passing in the pre-board exams means that the particular student cannot sit for the board exams. CBSE ensures to tell students that self assessment through pre-board exams is allowed, but does not factor in any eligibility for the board exams. These examinations are essentially drills to assist students in uncovering areas that require work before the final exam day.

To help students understand the steps involved in the exam along with the content that is to be evaluated, as well as the assessment criteria, CBSE provides sample papers every year. However, it is important for students to take note that there may be questions from all topics of the syllabus in actual exams. Students are always advised not to depend wholly on sample papers. Instead, students should learn the concepts clearly from the NCERT textbooks and some of the suggested materials.

CBSE, by answering some of these questions, seeks to provide clarity and reassurance to students which may allow them to concentrate on preparing for exams with assured focus. If they adhere to the instructions given, practice proper allocation of time, and decide to remain positive, it is certain that students will do excellently in the CBSE Board Exams 2025.
