If you are residing in Delhi and are concerned about your child's admission, because of which someone is offering you something about admission, then you should be cautious. The Delhi Education Directorate has warned parents and school authorities against getting in touch with such a person or organization. The Directorate of Education said that if someone makes a false claim of guarantee related to admission, then be careful, this can lead to embezzlement of your money.
Parents were warned
In a statement released on Wednesday, the Directorate of Education stated, "It has been noticed that certain individuals, organizations, and institutions are misleading parents by stating that they can influence or guarantee admission." The department has warned people to avoid such individuals. They have also been asked to take action against unauthorized institutions offering admission-related services. It was also stated that school administration and principals of private or government-aided schools have also been directed to steer clear of any form of official or unofficial relationship with admission advice agencies, websites, and agents.
Schools are strictly directed as well.
The education department emphasized that according to Section 17 of the Delhi School Education Act and Rules, 1973, it is not allowed at all to take any type of donation, consultation charges, or processing charges before or after admission. The notice mentioned that the department is more than capable and determined to prevent any type of education commercialization. In such a case, severe action will be taken by the department against individuals who are engaged in any such activity.
