The School of Hospitality at GNA University is currently running a 6-Day Online Faculty Development Programme on "Integrating Outcome-Based Education (OBE) with Innovative Teaching Practices in Hospitality and Tourism Education". The programme, which started on July 6 and will run through to July 11, 2026, will include academics and teachers who will be sharing insights on the latest trends in hospitality and tourism education.

As part of this programme, expert speakers from top-notch academic institutions will be sharing their experiences and insights on the following topics: Outcome Based Education (OBE), innovative approach to teaching, curriculum design, assessment and technology integration in hospitality and tourism education.

Attendees are participating in interactive sessions on the foundations of Outcome Based Education, Flipped Classroom, Experiential Learning, ICT tools, digital platforms, AI, VR, Curriculum alignment, Industry expectations, Rubrics, and Measurement of outcomes and best practices in OBE implementation over six days.

The programme also offers participants the chance to do interactive discussions, share ideas, connect with other educators from the nation and learn from academic specialists from throughout the nation, the university stated.

Adamas University, Kolkata, in association with the Indian Museum, is hosting a highly interactive session titled ‘Vikshit Bharat: History, Heritage and the Way Ahead’ which will examine the contribution of a rich and glorious cultural heritage to an evolved and developed nation like India.
