Chandigarh University will host the Freshers Party 2026 on September 18, 2026, to mark the start of its new batch of students. Organized as Fresh-Gen Fiesta, the event will be open to freshers only and see them participate in music, dance, acting, modelling, literature, fine arts, fitness, stand-up, make-up, filmmaking and influencer activities.
Titled “Fresh-Gen Fiesta”, the event will see freshers take part in creative activities to showcase their talent. The programme is set up to give students the chance to participate and excel in areas outside of academics as they settle into university life.
Music and dance performances, plus acting, modelling, literature and fine arts, will all be part of the celebrations. The listed attractions also include fitness, stand-up, make-up, filmmaking and influencer activities, adding to the attractions of a typical freshers’ party.
In addition to these events, the day’s programme will also include a musical concert. The event poster highlights the message “Own the Spotlight, Freshers!” to encourage the new batch to take part and make the most of the celebration.
