The VGU Alumni Association is set to bring together alumni from VIT, VIT E and Vivekananda Global University (VGU) for Samagam 2026 – NCR Chapter, an alumni reunion celebrating friendships, shared memories and lifelong connections.

Scheduled to be held on August 1, 2026, in Delhi, the event will welcome alumni from the 2008–2025 batches. The venue will be announced soon.

Held under the theme "Where Journeys Reunite," the reunion aims to provide former students with an opportunity to reconnect with classmates, revisit cherished campus memories and strengthen their bond with the VGU community.

RNTU with Vishwa Rang Foundation is hosting a Hindi Olympiad from 14th-30th September 2026. The official registration process for Vishwa Rang International Hindi Olympiad 2026 for UG and PG students in India is underway. The Olympiad offers students an opportunity to showcase their Hindi language and literary skills on an international platform spanning more than 70 countries.

The competition has been organised to promote learning of Hindi among the students and give them international exposure in the context of international level academic competition. Students pursuing UG and PG programmes are eligible to register for the Olympiad.

One of the major highlights of the event is a prize pool of more than ₹1 crore, making it one of the significant Hindi language competitions for higher education students. In addition to the prizes participants will be awarded certificates and grading for their performance in the competition.

The organisers have also announced that the examination for the participants of India will be conducted offline from 14 September to 30 September 2026.

MIT India has opened registrations for the National Level MIT India Hackathon 2026, inviting student innovators from across the country to develop solutions to real-world industry challenges and compete for a ₹25 lakh prize pool.

Organised as a flagship initiative under the Industry Institute Reconnect Summit (IRS) 2026 and the Industry Institute Engagement Summit (IES) 2026, the national hackathon aims to bridge academia and industry by encouraging students to build product-driven solutions with guidance from industry experts.

The competition will begin with a Qualifier Round at IRS 2026 in Pune on August 21–22, followed by the National Grand Finale during IES 2026 in New Delhi on October 24.

The organisers said the top 30 teams from the Pune qualifier will advance to the National Grand Finale in Delhi, where they will present their innovations before senior industry leaders and investors.

The National Level MIT India Hackathon 2026 offers a ₹25 lakh prize pool, including ₹7 lakh in cash prizes. Every participant reaching the Grand Finale will also receive AWS Certification Vouchers worth ₹10,000, while finalist teams will be eligible for cloud credits worth up to ₹20,000 to support the further development of their projects.
