Recent times saw JK Lakshmipat University, or JKLU, hosting its flagship HR Conclave-Sangam 2.0-bringing together bosses of leading companies, professors, and experts at a single platform. They all agreed: colleges and companies must work closer to train students for fast-changing jobs ahead.
What Made Sangam 2.0 Successful?
Sangam 2.0 is JK Lakshmipat University’s (JKLU) annual HR Conclave held recently in Jaipur. The event focused on strengthening academia-industry collaboration to prepare students for tomorrow's workforce demands through better skill alignment and co-innovation. Harsh Pati Singhania, Pro-Chancellor of JKLU, struck just the right note when he said: “Higher education must build smart, flexible talent prepared for anything”. Amit Malik from Wadzpay showed how tech pros are rewriting company "DNA." Vice-Chancellor Prof. Vijaysekhar Chellaboina pushed for updating college courses to match real boss needs.
Two panel discussions stole the show:
- Academic-Industry Synergy: Co-creating job-ready managers from day one.
- Tomorrow's Power Skills: Empathy, communication and design thinking essentials.
The star session, "Matching College Strengths with Future Jobs," called for shared innovation labs where students and firms build real solutions together.
