Centurion University Hosts Hands-On Diagnostic Workshop in Bhubaneswar on March 6-7

On March 6th and 7th, 2026, Centurion University of Technology and Management (CUTM) Bhubaneswar will host a two-day practical workshop on the topic of Integrated Diagnostic Approaches: From Microbial Techniques to Mobile Diagnostic Units and Advanced Immunoassays Platforms. The event begins at 10:00 AM every day and is organised by the School of Allied and Healthcare Sciences in cooperation with the Centre of Medical Diagnostics.

Workshop Highlights

The seminar is dedicated to the critical diagnosis skills applicable in modern medical practice. The participants will be trained in:

  • Microbial techniques - practical and theoretical knowledge.
  • Chemiluminescence Immunoassay (CLIA) analyzer - full workflow.
  • Mobilab machine working- competencies in quick field-based diagnostic testing.

These sessions will prepare students and professionals with practical laboratory skills which are becoming vital to healthcare diagnostics. 

The event is being organised by the Department of Applied and Clinical Microbiology and Medical Laboratory Technology.
