The decision follows Chief Minister Saha's recent visit to the State Ayurvedic Hospital in Agartala, where he emphasized the need for expanded healthcare provisions. In line with this vision, the state government has initiated discussions with the Centre to prioritize the establishment of an Ayurvedic medical college, with plans for a subsequent homeopathy medical college.
Despite potential logistical challenges, particularly regarding land acquisition, Chief Minister Saha is committed to expediting the resolution of these issues. This proactive approach underscores the government's determination to swiftly overcome hurdles and realize its healthcare development goals.
The government's focus extends beyond educational initiatives to include substantial infrastructure enhancements at the State Ayurvedic Hospital in Agartala.
