UGC NET Admit Card 2026 Released for Re-Exam; Check Download Link, Dates and Timings 

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the UGC NET June 2026 re-examination admit card for candidates appearing for the English, Commerce and Sociology papers. Candidates can now download their hall tickets from the official UGC NET website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in.

The re-examination will be held on September 9 and 10, 2026, following NTA's decision to conduct fresh tests for the three subjects after complaints were raised over errors and irregularities in the original question papers.

Candidates appearing for the UGC NET June 2026 re-examination can download their admit cards by visiting ugcnet.nta.nic.in and accessing the relevant admit-card link under the Candidate Activity section.

Candidates will need their application number and password or other login credentials specified by NTA to access the hall ticket.

UGC NET June 2026 re-exam dates and timings

The NTA re-examination schedule for the three subjects is as follows:

Why is UGC NET 2026 being conducted again for three subjects?

NTA announced the re-examination after an expert committee examined complaints received about the English, Commerce and Sociology question papers from the June 2026 session.

According to the agency, the review identified several issues, including factual, typographical, translation and language-related errors. The committee also noted instances of repeated questions and other problems affecting the quality of the papers.

NTA subsequently decided that the three examinations should be conducted afresh rather than resolving the problems only through the question-challenge and deletion process.

The remaining 84 UGC NET subjects were not included in the re-examination.

Will candidates have to pay the UGC NET re-exam fee again?

No. Candidates appearing for the re-examination of English, Commerce or Sociology do not have to pay an additional examination fee, according to NTA.

After downloading the hall ticket, candidates should carefully check:

• Application number
• Subject
• Examination date
• Shift and reporting time
• Examination centre and address
• Candidate photograph and other details mentioned on the admit card
