Maharashtra CET Cell 2026 Issues Technical Admission Cut-Off Notice

The Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test Cell has issued a fresh notice with September 14, 2026, as the cut-off date for admissions to technical education courses for the 2026–27 academic year.

What has the CET Cell announced?

The CET Cell has issued an “Important Notice: Regarding the Cut-Off Date for All Courses Under Technical Education – A.Y. 2026–27”, dated September 7, 2026. The notice can be seen in the Technical Education section of the notices page on the authority's website.

The CET Cell has set September 14, 2026, as the cut-off date for admissions under Technical Education for the 2026–27 academic year. The development is particularly significant to those students who are still completing their admissions after the CAP rounds or are seeking seats that remain vacant at the institute-level.

Maharashtra CET admission deadline 2026

They then have to prepare and display a merit list before completing the admissions in accordance with the applicable admission rules.

Candidates should complete the required document verification, fee payment and institute-reporting formalities before treating the admission as confirmed. The official schedule requires institutes to verify documents and upload the admission details through the institute login.

MHT CET CAP 2026 seat allotment/selection should not be considered as complete admission until the applicant has met the applicable fee payment, document submission and reporting/system requirements.
