Eligibility Criteria

SKDU sets clear eligibility guidelines for each program:

• Undergraduate: 10+2 or equivalent with at least 45% marks for most general courses; science and engineering programs require PCM/PCB.
• Postgraduate: Graduation with a minimum aggregate of 45–50% (category relaxations as per norms).
• Doctoral: Postgraduate degree with 55% + qualification in the university's JRET exam and interview.​ (5% relaxation for reserved categories)

Admission Procedure

SKDU admissions are largely on merit basis given the marks received in the qualifying test. Some courses like Ph.D. courses demand an entrance test which is referred to as JRET, and a personal interview. Application mode will be online, and then after the selection is done, students will have to pay the tuition fee in order to confirm the admission. The required documents are mark sheets, identity proof and category certificates in case of any.​
