The much-awaited Institution's Innovation Council (IIC) Regional Meet 2025, was proudly hosted by Vivekananda Global University, Jaipur, shining a brilliant light on the spirit of innovation, entrepreneurship, and the strong ‘Vocal for Local’ movement. The event brought together some of the brightest minds, innovative startups, and passionate local entrepreneurs on a single impactful platform, reinforcing the university’s commitment to fostering creativity, sustainability, and indigenous growth.
The day started with the motivational Product Demonstration & Exhibition of YUKTI innovations, where state-of-the-art products developed by budding startups and student innovators from VGU and other institutions were put on display. There were also meaningful displays of IIC posters presented by multiple participating institutions, highlighting the vast innovation ecosystem across the region.
It was the Swadesh Udyami-Bazaar-a marketplace that celebrated the resilience and strength of local entrepreneurs, one of the key highlights at the meet. This bazaar had been a live demonstration of Swadeshi Bodh, an initiative to promote indigenous products through championing the ‘Vocal for Local’ ethos, encouraging consumers and creators alike to centre local craftsmanship and entrepreneurship.
IIC-Regional Meet, Jaipur at VGU, was much more than an event; it was a proud celebration of India's innovation culture springing to life. The audience was captivated by creativity, sustainability, and entrepreneurship merged under one roof: ideas being pitched by student innovators, exhibiting novel technologies by exhibitors, and different products presented by local artisans.
Equipping the ecosystem with opportunities such as masterclasses by leading ecosystem enablers, mentorship sessions, and networking helped solidify the startup ecosystem and foster knowledge sharing among innovators. The event underlined the university’s vision to instill an entrepreneurial mindset and make valuable contributions toward the rise of India as an innovation hub.
Hosting the IIC Regional Meet Jaipur at VGU has once again marked VGU as a prominent hub for entrepreneurship and innovation in Rajasthan and validated its mission of empowering students and local enterprises in developing high-impact solutions with global relevance but deep local roots.
