What is the Eligibility Criteria? 

For Undergraduate programmes: 

  • The Candidate must have a minimum educational qualification of higher secondary school (10 + 2) or any equivalent education with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and/or Mathematics as the main subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50%. 
  • Candidates who are due to appear in the (10 + 2) examination are also eligible to apply. 

For Postgraduate Programme: 

  1. The Candidate must have completed their graduation in B.Sc forensic science or b a Science Graduate in any stream with a minimum aggregate 50%. 
  2. Those who are in the final semester of the Bachelor Programme are also eligible to apply.

What Are AIFSET 2026 Guidelines?

The guidelines for the forensic science entrance exam are as follows:

  • The exam will be conducted in the online mode and candidates can take the test from mobile, laptop or desktop with good internet connection..
  • There will be 100 MCQ with One Correct Answer, 
  • The duration of the exam is 60 minutes.
  • Candidates would be awarded 1 mark for each correct answer and there is no negative marking for any wrong answer.
  • Candidates are requested to join the exam link at least 15 minutes before exam timing.
  • Candidates can login in the examination portal using their registered mobile number.

  • 2hrs Physics/Chem: Mechanics, optics, reactions - HC Verma/OP Tandon
  • 2hrs Biology: Genetics, anatomy, DNA profiling (Trueman)
