Central University of Rajasthan Invites Applications for Professor, Assistant Professor Posts

Central University of Rajasthan (CURAJ) has come up with a rolling recruitment notification for the faculty positions of Professor & Assistant Professor. The university through this drive is going to recruit a total of 8 vacancies and it will be a good opportunity for the academic aspirants to get a faculty job in a central university.

The interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official web portal, curaj.ac.in, not later than March 15, 2026. After online submission of the application form, the candidates should send a printout of the filled application along with photocopies of self, attested documents to the university's postal address before 5.00 p.m. on March 23, 2026. No application will be entertained if received after the due date.

Eligibility Criteria

Post of Professor requires candidates to have a PhD degree in the relevant subject area. Further, candidates must have published at least 10 articles in accredited and well, known journals. Also, a total teaching and/or research experience of at least 10 years in a university or institution duly recognized is essential. UGC (University Grants Commission) lays down the norms for the qualifications of the candidates that should necessarily be adhered to.

For the post of Assistant Professor, the candidate should have a Masters degree with not less than 55% marks in the relevant subject. Besides, they should have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET). However, candidates with a PhD degree in the relevant field are exempted from NET as per the regulations of UGC.

Salary Structure

The Professor post

A salary in the Pay Level 14 will be given to the professors who are selected. The salary varies from 1, 44, 200 to 2, 18, 200 per month.Assistant Professors pay level will be 10 with a salary of 57, 700 to 1, 81, 400 per month.The Mode of Selection

In the first stage, shortlisting will be based on the academic credentials only. Later on, candidates will have to give their presentations or seminars followed by an interview.

Application Fee and Instructions

The application fee is 1, 500 for Unreserved, EWS, and OBC candidates, and 750 for SC, ST, and PwBD categories. Applicants are strongly advised to go through the official notification carefully and follow all the instructions before submitting their forms.
