A major international conference is scheduled to be hosted by Mewar University, focused on blending traditional knowledge with green economy principles to boost rural development and sustainable livelihoods. The conference titled “International Conference on Traditional Knowledge, Green Economy, and Entrepreneurship Opportunities for Rural Development and Sustainable Livelihood (ICRDSL-2026),” is a two-day insightful interaction on 3rd and 4th April. It’ll take place in hybrid mode, making it accessible to global participants and everyone who might not be able to attend it physically.
This conference is organized by the Faculty of Management and Commerce (FMC) at Mewar University, in association with the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences (FHSS) and Faculty of Mass and Media Communications (FMMC). At the university's campus, NH-48, Gangrar, Chittorgarh, Rajasthan-312901, this insightful session will take place.
The conference is designed to help expose resource-efficient and viable development options for rural India. It will be attended by experts, researchers, entrepreneurs and policy-makers. Key themes include leveraging traditional knowledge,like indigenous farming practices and herbal remedies, with modern green economy models to create entrepreneurship opportunities.
