The Edinbox Regional Higher Education Summit 2026 – Lucknow Edition will be held on April 24, 2026, at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan. This year, the summit will place a special focus on Forensic Science, an emerging field that is gaining strong interest among students.
The event will run from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and will bring together education leaders, students, and forensic experts for in-depth discussions on career opportunities and real-world applications of forensic science.
Forensic Science Takes Centre Stage at Edinbox Summit
One of the major highlights of the summit is its dedicated focus on Forensic Science as a career option. With growing demand in areas like criminal investigation, cyber forensics, and legal science, the field is becoming increasingly relevant for students after Class 12.
Experts will explain how forensic science plays a key role in solving crimes by analysing evidence such as blood samples, fingerprints, DNA, and digital data. The sessions will aim to simplify complex concepts and present them in a way that is easy for students to understand.
Key Dignitaries and Experts Attending
The summit will be attended by senior officials from the forensic science domain.
- Prof. (Dr.) Adarsh Kumar, Director of the Uttar Pradesh Forensic Science Laboratory, will be present.
- A. K. Srivastava, Former Deputy Director, will also join the event.
Prof. (Dr.) Adarsh Kumar is a well-known expert in forensic medicine and has previously been associated with All India Institute of Medical Sciences.
