The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) has invited applications for its Administration Internship 2026 at the UNDP Seoul Policy Centre (USPC) in South Korea. The six-month paid internship offers students and recent graduates an opportunity to gain practical experience within the United Nations system while working on administration, operations, and international development initiatives.

The internship will be held in Seoul, Republic of Korea, from August 17, 2026, to February 16, 2027. The application deadline is June 30, 2026.

According to the official announcement, selected interns will receive a monthly stipend of approximately KRW 1,169,728 (around USD 750). Interns will also be entitled to official UN holidays and leave benefits of 1.5 days per month. However, candidates will be responsible for their own accommodation, travel, visa, insurance, and additional living expenses.

The internship is hosted by the UNDP Seoul Policy Centre, which serves as UNDP’s global policy hub in South Korea. The centre promotes international development cooperation, knowledge-sharing, governance reforms, gender equality, sustainable development, green recovery, and partnerships that support the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

During the internship, participants will assist with financial documentation, office administration, procurement, logistics, event coordination, travel arrangements, communication management, translation support, and sustainability initiatives. Interns will also gain exposure to global policy discussions and development projects.

The programme is open to applicants who are enrolled in a Master’s degree programme, are in the final year of a Bachelor’s degree, have graduated within the past year, or are participating in a postgraduate professional traineeship programme. Preferred academic backgrounds include Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, and related disciplines.

Applicants should possess strong organisational, communication, research, and Microsoft Office skills, along with an interest in international development and global cooperation.

To apply, candidates must submit a single PDF containing an updated CV and a one-page cover letter. International applicants must also meet South Korea’s visa and work eligibility requirements.
