One of the options is the All India Forensic Science Entrance Test (AIFSET) for admission to undergraduate courses in forensic science at the participating universities.

But should you take AIFSET in 2027? It will depend on your eligibility, the universities you are interested in and the type of academic trajectory you are seeking. Based on the current AIFSET 2026 eligibility and examination details, here are 10 practical reasons why class 12 students should consider AIFSET for their 2027 admission planning. To pursue Forensic science after Class 12.

The main advantage of AIFSET is that you don't need to wait until you graduate to get into the field. The eligibility criteria for the B.Sc. Forensic Science routes under the current AIFSET are that candidates who have completed or are appearing for 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and/or Mathematics as the main subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50% are eligible to apply.
