The ASRB, under DARE, has released admit cards for National Eligibility Test (NET), Agricultural Research Service (ARS), Subject Matter Specialist (SMS-T6), and Senior Technical Officer (STO-T6) Examination-2025. The tests are going to be conducted from 11 to 13 November 2025.
With this in view, the ASRB examination is conducted to recruit workers in different positions in agriculture and its allied sectors, which bear relevance in molding research output, academic manpower, and technical support in the agricultural sector in India. Candidates selected go on to contribute to advancement, policy formulation, and innovation in agriculture.

NET Exam:
The NET examination shall be conducted as a single paper online computer-based mode examination consisting of 150 multiple-choice questions carrying one mark each.
The time allowed is two hours for the test. There is a negative marking, wherein one-third of a mark is deducted for every incorrect response. The test is set at master's degree level with respect to subject-specific knowledge. ARS, SMS, and STO Selection: Recruitment for ARS, SMS-T6, and STO-T6 posts is done through a three-stage recruitment process. In this way, people with both knowledge and practical experience are selected so as to enhance the agricultural research and innovation base of India.
