Indian students are encouraged to apply for a scholarship program that was initiated by the government of the Russian Federation for the academic year 2026-2027. The scholarship program aims at helping Indian students join colleges in Russia to pursue their higher education.
Most courses, including those related to medicine, will be taught in English, as informed by the Russian government. This implies that English fluency will be sufficient for application and Russian fluency will not be necessary. Also, before pursuing their major courses, those wishing to learn Russian can apply for a one-year preparatory course.
Students have the opportunity to study in several Russian universities, which are located in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Kazan, Vladivostok, Kaliningrad, and other cities. The application process for the scholarships can now be done.
